Mobile Vote Center

There are more days and more ways to vote in Yolo County. This page describes the Mobile Vote Center.

See the Current Election's Vote Centers & Ballot Drop Box Locations page for actual locations and hours of operations for the current election as this is subject to change per election.

The Yolo County Elections Office developed an Election Administration Plan that specifically includes providing voting information and election services to the residents of Yolo County's unique townships and unincorporated communities.

The Mobile Vote Center (MVC) will be set up in rural areas to provide the same services as a typical Vote Center. The MVC is a state-of-the-art 29-foot trailer. Election workers will assist voters with registering to vote, casting a ballot, getting a replacement vote-by-mail ballot, and using the accessible ballot-marking device.

The MVC will be at one location for one day, before moving on to the next community. Every Mobile Vote Center is open from 10 am to 6 pm. The communities the MVC will visit are:

  • Clarksburg
  • Dunnigan
  • Guinda
  • Knights Landing
  • Madison
  • Yolo
  • Zamora

The Vote Center and Ballot Drop Box Locations page under the Current Election page contains information about Yolo County locations and times of operation specific to a current election and is posted 29 days before Election Day.
