Submission Process

Most Self-Service Applications can only be completed in-person. Review services and requirements listed below.

  1. Submit application online prior to your visit via Self-Service Queue
  2. Provide your name as the customer to the clerk when you arrive.
  3. Payment is collected at the service counter. Cash, check, or debit/credit card accepted.
  4. Review the Self-Service items and their requirements below:
    • Marriage License Application (both parties must appear in-person, together, with identification)
    • Deputy Commissioner for a Day Application 
    • Military Discharge Certified Copy Request
    • Vital Records Certified Copies (Birth, Death, & Marriage)
    • Fictitious Business Names Applications (mail-in requests accepted but must be signed with an original wet signature)
    • Official Record Copy Requests (call 530-666-8130 to complete your order and have your document sent to you)
